More Exciting
Recent
HappeningsWe’ve been busy this Fall, hosting online and hybrid programs from our programming space at 199 Main Street. We celebrated our 40th Making Night! We also launched our Intergenerational Mending Project workshops which have so far included a Book Mending Clinic with Elizabeth Creith (December 9th) and Odds & Ends, a workshop about creative repurposing hosted by Patricia Wynter (December 13th).
We’ve continued hosting in-person drop-in programs in Sault Ste. Marie, at the Northern Community Centre and at the Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site; and in Thessalon, at the Thessalon Public Library. We were proud to participate in Culture Days 2022, alongside our partners in Sault Ste. Marie’s Cultural Corridor! Our collective efforts earned us recognition as one of this year’s Top Participating Communities! Specifically, we were recognized as the #6 Culture Days Digital Champion, and we ranked 9th nationally among Mid-Size Cities, with 12 digital programs and an impressive 24 in-person events organized for the 2022 celebrations.
