At Thinking Rock, live, gather, work and create in Robinson-Huron Treaty Territory, on the Traditional Territory of the Anishinaabek of Baawaating, Payentanassin, Thessalon First Nation, Misswezhaging and Genaabaajing. This is a place where the Métis have lived for generations, and which is now home to many diverse Indigenous peoples.
We make this land acknowledgment in recognition of the relationships between Indigenous peoples and their territories - connections that continue since time immemorial - and to acknowledge our relational responsibility, as inhabitants of Turtle Island, to people and the planet - to the Earth, and to each other. To the Thinking Rockers, this looks like embracing ongoing learning and taking informed, heart-led action in support of reparation, relationships and reconciliation.
This commitment informs the work that we do, everyday.
